Krishna Kids

Once again, the Sacred Sound Kirtan Retreat is excited to offer the Krishna Kids activity area. The fully-supervised space will be bigger and better than ever and is open to any children over 4 years old.

We have lots of activities arranged to make the Kirtan Retreat fun and memorable for kids and easier for parents.

We provide a safe, caring, creative and fun environment for your children to be fully-supervised and entertained so you can attend the retreat with peace of mind.

It is important to register your child as soon as possible. This will allow us to have the correct ratio of carers to children and to plan activities.

To be admitted to the Krishna Kids area, your children must be registered

and paid for in advance.

As we will be outside, with shaded areas, please send your child shoes and a hat, clearly labeled with your childs name. Make your child’s visit as comfortable as possible, and ensure they are in comfy play clothes. Please label your bags and belongings with your child’s full name.

Who can come?

The fully-supervised space is open to any children over 4 years old who are fully toilet trained. There will also be a separate play space for under 4 year olds. Please contact us for more info about the under 4's space.

Behaviour

All children are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect. Our aim in Krishna Kids is to always maintain control of the group. Leaders will positively convey the limits to your children. We hope children come to enjoy themselves and if an incident was to arise staff will always try to diffuse this and help the children learn consequences. All staff speak in a respectful positive manner to the children and refrain from negative labeling. We encourage children through positive role modelling and clear guidelines should a child need any behavioural management. Please note: if a child becomes very upset, disruptive or difficult, the parent/guardian will be collected and asked to calm their child.
